Sad NewsI had planned an update for all SPC members today; however, some things are just more important. The brotherhood of airline pilots lost a great friend yesterday. Sam Woolsey passed away in a drowning accident in California. Sam was the greatest historian of the fight for justice and elimination of the FAA Age 60 Rule. It was my great pleasure to have shared many conversations with him. Sam Woolsey did not take sides, but rather opened his knowledge to everyone. Sam should be remembered as he was; a great friend to all. He will be missed. It would be appropriate for all to express our sympathy and gratitude to his wife Hazel Woolsey.
