SPC Gets Another Delay

To all:

  I had hoped that by this Friday we would all be reading the DOJ filing in our case.  Unfortunately that has changed.  I learned last night that the DOJ requested a further delay of their filing, and this AM that the Court awarded an 8 day extension to August 5, 2008.  From the schedule I previously sent to everyone just add 8 days to each scheduled event.  That moves the final briefs to September 24th.

  With all that has been going on in regard to filings and Amicus Curiae briefs, it's important to not read anything into this procedural delay.  It is what it is at this point, an 8 day delay and nothing more.  If I get any further clarification, I will pass that along.

  One final note, and that is the information that I requested from everyone.  Legal name, current address, current telephone contact and birth date.  If you have not responded with that required information, expect a separate e-mail as a reminder.
