Help BoeingI am wondering just exactly how much the Airline Family can control the things that are happening in the industry. It is more then the fuel situation for the industry. It is high paid Airline CEO's who do nothing and the Federal Govern-ment who is making it easier for Foreign Airlines not only to fly in the USA but they can purchase anyone of our US Carriers. By reducing the number of flights within the USA will encourage more small upstart carriers or the larger airlines to take foreign partners. (I don't mean in ticketing)
The name of this game in DC is GLOBAL AND WORLDLY..Every person in the Airline Industry should be up in arms over the Pentagon attempting to give Northrop Grumman and Airbus parent Co EADS the contract for 200 re-fuelers. Right now we need to support BOEING a great American Co. in the airline industry. It is now being renegotiated .. Let your Congress People know it is not the right way to do business. The truth is Congress gave away our country with NAFTA and now they are trying to extend it to Columbia and South America. So give BOEING support before Congress kills the goose that lays thousands of pay checks for the workers of America. The profit in this deal belongs to the USA. Not Europe. We pay for the re-fuelers with our taxes. It is our Military who will use them. Ruth C. Captains Wife
