Capt. Langenhahn accidentally discharged his FFDO pistol through the left cockpit wall, whilst attempting to re-install the TSA-mandated trigger lock.  The company fired him, for reasons that are not clear.  He will most likely be reinstated by an arbitrator, late this year or early next.  Until then, through no fault of his own, (divorce, expensive illness of Mom) finds himself impecunious.  He has cashed out his 401K to live.  US Airways have challenged his unemployment benefits....the beat goes on.
