The FMLA Technical Correction Bill is now in the Senate, and it's 
important that all Florida resident Flight Attendants contact Senator 
Mel Martinez (202-224-3041) to ask him to co-sponsor S. 2059, the 
Airline Flight Crew Technical Corrections Act.  The Department of 
Labor is making the erroneous argument that someone who sits Reserve 
is a part-time employee, therefore ineligible for FMLA.  We all know 
this is a bunch of crap.  Anyone who sits Reserve is at the beck and 
call of the Company; to call that part-time just makes the hair stand 
up on the back of my neck.  Call Senator Martinez and voice your 
support for this important piece of legislation.
